Who Is ShaSha?

Susan Jakubowski didn't exactly pick the name ShaSha—her grandchildren did. They found Babcia (the Polish word for grandma) too tricky to say, and their creative alternative stuck. Today, "ShaSha" is synonymous with poetry that's both playful and thoughtful, appealing to curious kids, discerning educators, and publishers on the lookout for fresh, original voices.
